The Advanced Security Engineering team works to provide our client new solutions to IT engineering and security issues. We respond to requests from our government leadership by investigating and implementing the latest solutions in order to best support the program and the larger cyber security community. The team culture promotes interaction among members by determining best direction for both our team and the client. It also promotes individual mentorship and technical career growth in the latest information systems technologies.
The position is located in downtown Washington, D.C. with work schedules somewhat flexible to accommodate family and commuting. An active Top Secret clearance and the ability to successfully pass a CI polygraph examination is required.
The role will involve:
-Development of new systems and solutions for external customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. This includes researching the latest technical solutions, writing whitepapers, providing recommendations, presenting results, and building out pilot solutions in dev/test environments
-Ensuring system security needs are established prior to disseminating to operations group. This may include system development, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
-Integrating new architectural features into existing infrastructures, writing cyber security architectural documents and migrating existing systems to satisfy future requirements and anticipate trends
