Overview

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated Big Data Programmer to provide world class services to our mission critical customer in the Washington DC area.   

 

 

Responsibilities

The Big Data Programmer will provide  General software development for a Big Data environment, including Data Ingestion / ETL, processing pipelines, text extraction and analysis, indexing and search, and data science algorithms.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years hands-on Java development
  • Experience with JSON and XML processing
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies
  • TS/SCI (EOD preferred)
  • Must be able to work at various customer sites in the Washington, DC area as needed.

 

 Desired:

 

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and/or Physical Sciences
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
    • Apache NIFI, Pentaho Kettle, Informatica, Hadoop, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solr, ElasticSearch, Accumulo, HBase, NLP, Graph Databases
