AnaVation, LLC is seeking a CRM Administrator/Developer to support our mission critical customer in the Washington DC area. Qualified candidates will have a Top-Secret security clearance. Primary work location Crystal City, VA with frequent travel with DC metro area.


The candidate will be responsible for supporting responsible for support with design, build, administration, and ongoing support for a SugarCRM environment. The candidate will also support requests for developing technical solutions in response to change requisitions and continued system growth, and server as a CRM SME with client throughout the life of the contract.


The candidate will provide CRM technical knowledge during the requirements, design, and testing, and implementation phases. Responsible for ensuring that the CRM solution design meets customer requirements and use cases. Candidate will be responsible for working closely with project sponsors and business users.



  • Experience implementing CRM projects using an agile software development methodology
  • Experience in full life cycle software development and deployment processes to include (but not limited to)
    • Environment management
    • Release management
    • Code versioning best practices
    • Deployment methodologies
  • Experience performing product evaluations, and working closely with CRM product providers to build customized demonstrations of projects
  • Specific experience with the entire SugarCRM to include:
    • System Configuration Experience
    • Profiles, Roles, Objects, Pages, Fields, Workflows, Access Controls, etc.
    • Experience with development migrations to production
    • Managing simultaneous development environments
  • Defining business requirements and developing user stories
  • Developing system design documents
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET/C#
  • 5+ years of experience integrating CRM products with other systems
    • MS Office Suite
    • SharePoint
    • MS SQL Server (MySQL, DB2, Oracle a plus!)
    • API’s
  • Hands on experience with web/application server programming such as C#, ASP.NET, REST, SQL, HTML5, and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Hands on experience with VisualStudio
  • Hands on experience with Windows Server versions (2003-2016)
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field
  • Must be willing to travel locally (50%) and occasional travel non-locally (10-15%)
  • 10+ years direct experience in software development life cycle
  • Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of CRM software solutions
  • Project management skills and experience in team environment
    • Experience with MS Project / JIRA
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presenting, and meeting facilitation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Superior Customer Service
  • Top Secret security clearance



  • Experience handling production failovers and hot redundancy
  • Expert level knowledge of SugarCRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics a plus!)
  • Sugar Certifications a plus!
    • Certified Sugar Administration Specialist
    • Certified Sugar Developer Specialist
    • Certified Sugar Solution Architect Professional
  • Experience with ETL tools
    • Talend
    • JitterBit
    • Informatica
    • Etc.
  • Hands on experience with web/application server programming such as C#, ASP.NET, REST, SQL, HTML5, and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Experience handling large scale enterprise applications
  • Experience working with multiple groups and gathering/managing simultaneous requirements
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) for data gathering/reporting
    • Microsoft PowerBI
    • Tableau
    • MicroStrategy
    • Etc.
